We’ll guide you step-by-step through shaping and assembling the layered pieces, reinforcing the structure, and finishing your tree so it sparkles from every angle. This is a fun project that results in a beautiful handmade decoration you’ll enjoy for many holiday seasons to come. Students must bring or purchase glass, copper foil and solder for their projects.

Create charming 3D succulent sculptures in this updated 3-week class! Perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike, this hands-on workshop lets you build your own sculptural succulent using vibrant glass, choosing from a variety of charming patterns. Students will even have the option of creating their own fused bowl to display your creation and complete the look.

In this redesigned class you will construct a panel with bevels and colored glass. You will also learn how to build a jig, where to start with lead when making a rectangular project, and how to putty and finish the piece. Your project can be any size between 8"x 8" and 14"x 14". You will need to purchase the glass for your project or bring in your own. We will supply the lead, bevels, tools and supplies. The jig will be built on a wooden, mdf, or homasote board. Students should have completed Stained Glass I and II.

In this special two-week workshop for students who have completed Fusing 4, the Molten Magic class, participants will dive deeper into the art of cast glass by creating a multi-colored glass block with intricate internal patterns. These hidden designs are revealed through precise cross-sectional cuts using a tile saw, transforming the glass block into captivating components. Students will then use these pieces to compose stunning, richly textured, and organic compositions, exploring innovative ways to arrange and layer their cut sections. Participants will bring or purchase glass to construct their unique creations.

Fusing for Stained Glass Artists: When What You Need Doesn’t Exist—Make It! Sometimes, the perfect glass just isn’t out there. In this 3-week creative exploration class, you’ll learn how to design and fuse your own custom glass to match your unique stained glass vision. We’ll dive into textures, layering, detail work, and color combinations that can only be achieved through the fusing process. While we won’t be making a finished stained glass piece, you’ll walk away with one-of-a-kind sheets and elements ready for your next masterpiece. In this 3-week course, you'll discover how glass flows and moves at high temperatures in the kiln, and use this knowledge to create two unique and stunning projects. The first project involves working with stacked glass and frit, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that showcase the mesmerizing flow of molten glass. The second project uses segment bars, where you'll stack contrasting pieces of glass to create geometric shapes and patterns that flow and merge together in the heat of the kiln.

You’ll learn the reverse mosaic technique, which allows for smooth surfaces and crisp designs perfect for outdoor use. We’ll cover design planning, and cementing techniques for a variety of shapes. All skill levels welcome.

In this 3-week class you will make a small mosaic, or bring in a substrate of your choice! Learn the design fundamentals behind mosaics as well as how to chip, glue, and grout a mosaic using glass. We supply the pattern or bring one of your choosing to be interpreted in mosaic arts. Glass and substrate provided.

Explore the possibilities of shaping glass with kilncarving and Custom Mold making to and add depth and texture to your fused glass work. In this 3-week class, students will use a variety of methods to make several small pieces using positive and negative relief as well as a final piece that showcases your newly acquired skills. Techniques included are kilncarving with fiber paper, Silke Mat and weaving glass. Glass and materials will be provided for the first class. Students will need to purchase glass for their second project week 2. Fusing I recommended, but not required.

In this two-week class, students will create Spider Web Dream Catchers, crafting a stunning, one-of-a-kind dream catcher using the art of stained glass combined with wirework and steel rings Prerequisite: Stained Glass 1 Materials: Students will bring or purchase their own glass and foil. Wire, solder, steel hoops, and chain will be provided.

Price includes supplies for your first project. You select from a wide array of free patterns and you purchase glass, foil, and solder for your second project.

This 4-week class is the next step in learning the copper foil technique. In this 4-week class you will learn how to make a small (12" x 15") panel. We begin with how to build a jig to frame the project and end by teaching how to finish the edges with a zinc frame. You will purchase the approved pattern book and all materials. There will be soldering homework for this class.

In this third fusing class, we explore how glass moves in the kiln to create organic works of art. The 3-week class starts with coral type bowls. The second week covers mastering intentional shapes with negative spaces. The third week is a mastery of delicate designs with exquisite control over the final project. Class includes glass for the first project. Projects will require multiple firings, so students will have to return after class to pick up their completed projects

In this 2-week class you will learn the fundamentals of creating woven glass creations. Your creations can be used to create a vessel, tray or even wall art. Students must bring or purchase fusable glass in several colors of their own choosing. The studio will provide the molds and fusing time required. While this is a 2-week class, students will have to return to the studio to select molds for their piece as this is a 3-fire process
