Create a colorful fused suncatcher in a Heart shape just in time for Valentine's Day. For this one-day workshop, all glass will be provided to make a clear or white heart with colorful additions to make your project personal. Clear glass for base color as well as accessory glass provided.

Join us for a creative 3-week stained glass terrarium class, where you'll learn the art of 3D construction! The class will cover the best methods for shaping, assembling, and soldering to create beautiful, intricate terrariums. Bring your favorite glass, foil, and solder, and get ready to craft something unique and stunning. A variety of patterns provided in either a table top or hanging design.

This workshop is for those students who only want to do learn how to handle glass tools, and cut glass.. We will quickly teach you how to cut glass. We will schedule this class as one-on-one instruction which will last 90-120 minutes. This class is scheduled on request.

Even in the desert, you can have a colorful garden! You should know how to cut glass to take this workshop, but do not need fusing experience to create a dynamic piece of art for your landscape! Students will need to purchase the glass stand of their choice, (Prices range from 35.00 - 42.00.) The studio will provide a clear piece of base glass as well and a variety of colors to use for your piece. You may want to bring or purchase additional glass to bring your vision to life!

Using 90 COE glass, you will learn the fundamentals of fusing. We create an experimental glass tile, a night-lite, a ring dish, a piece of jewelry, and an additional project. Some of the projects will be taken to a full fuse and some will be tacked fused...the dish will be slumped. We will furnish most supplies and the kiln time. You will furnish the creativity and some additional supplies if desired.

Explore the possibilities of shaping glass with kilncarving and Custom Mold making to and add depth and texture to your fused glass work. In this 3-week class, students will use a variety of methods to make several small pieces using positive and negative relief as well as a final piece that showcases your newly acquired skills. Techniques included are kilncarving with fiber paper, Silke Mat and weaving glass. Glass and materials will be provided for the first class. Students will need to purchase glass for their second project week 2. Fusing I recommended, but not required.

In this third fusing class, we explore how glass moves in the kiln to create organic works of art. The 3-week class starts with coral type bowls. The second week covers mastering intentional shapes with negative spaces. The third week is a mastery of delicate designs with exquisite control over the final project. Class includes glass for the first project. Projects will require multiple firings, so students will have to return after class to pick up their completed projects

In this 3-week course, you'll discover how glass flows and moves at high temperatures in the kiln, and use this knowledge to create two unique and stunning projects. The first project involves working with stacked glass and frit, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that showcase the mesmerizing flow of molten glass. The second project uses segment bars, where you'll stack contrasting pieces of glass to create geometric shapes and patterns that flow and merge together in the heat of the kiln.

In this redesigned class you will construct a panel with bevels and colored glass. You will also learn how to build a jig, where to start with lead when making a rectangular project, and how to putty and finish the piece. Your project can be any size between 8"x 8" and 14"x 14". You will need to purchase the glass for your project or bring in your own. We will supply the lead, bevels, tools and supplies. The jig will be built on a wooden, mdf, or homasote board. Students should have completed Stained Glass I and II.

In this 3-week class you will make a small mosaic, or bring in a substrate of your choice! Learn the design fundamentals behind mosaics as well as how to chip, glue, and grout a mosaic using glass. We supply the pattern or bring one of your choosing to be interpreted in mosaic arts. Glass and substrate provided.

What is your mosaic style? Expand on the technical skills learned in Mosaic One by refining your cutting skills and developing your andamento style. We will use materials that can be mounted outside while exploring methods for creating gradients and using transparent glass to create special effects. Substrates, thinset and grout will be provided as well as a selection of glass to use for your project

This is our beginning class where we use the foil method of construction. In this 4-week class you will learn how to cut, grind, foil and solder glass components while making two class projects. Price includes supplies for your first project. You select from a wide array of free patterns and you purchase glass, foil, and solder for your second project.

This Class is also available in a 4-week format.

This 4-week class is the next step in learning the copper foil technique. In this 4-week class you will learn how to make a small (12" x 15") panel. We begin with how to build a jig to frame the project and end by teaching how to finish the edges with a zinc frame. You will purchase the approved pattern book and all materials. There will be soldering homework for this class.

In this 2-1/2 hour workshop, students will make a wreath with 9 bevels, glass globs and scrap glass for a bow. Holly bevels and glass globs will be provided as well as a selection of glass to create your bow. Students may also want to bring glass of their choice for the bows.
