Prairie Style Panel Lamp

Prairie-style stained glass lamp shades are a hallmark of the American Arts and Crafts movement, heavily influenced by the architectural designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. In this 3-week class, students will select from 3 different modes of construction based on their personal preference for size, and base. The first 2 classes will deal with the design and construction of the panels which will be assembled in week 3. Follow up the shade class and make your custom base shown below |

Materials Included: | Students bring or purchase glass, copper foil and solder for their pieces. Studio will provide the structural elements and patterns for the lamps. |
