Panel Lamp Base

Create a custom base for the rectangular shade created in the Prairie Lamp Shade Class. In this 2-week class, students will create a base to perfectly suit their shade. The class will focus on the construction techniques as well as wiring the unit in the second week. Lighting components are provided while students will bring or purchase glass to coordinate with their shade. |

Skill Details:
Students must be able to cut, grind, foil and solder glass.
Materials Included:
Students bring or purchase glass, copper foil and solder for their bases. The studio will provide structural support and electrical components for their lamps
Requirements:
Students should have completed Stained Glass I as well as the Prairie Lamp Shade class
